I miss those days Toni!

There was no internet or smartphones. If the kids had a conflict with each other, then they had to deal with it face to face. If you wanted to make a snarky remark, you could not text, email, or DM it; it was in person. Being in person is much more demanding than using a device. My children still think about what they want to say to their friends and enemies and are prepared to face the consequences of their actions immediately.
